Delete PDF Pages

Remove pages from a PDF and keep the rest. Free, and runs entirely in your browser — nothing you enter is uploaded, stored or sent to a server.

About Delete PDF Pages

Removes the pages you name and rebuilds the document from the ones that are left. It is the shortest way to drop a blank scan, a cover sheet, an internal appendix or a page that should never have been in the file you are about to send.

Pages are named the same way as everywhere else here — 2, 5-9 and last both work — and the result lists what was deleted and what survived, so a mistyped range is obvious before you download anything.

Where it helps

  • The pages that stay keep their text, fonts and images — nothing is redrawn.
  • Ranges, open ends and the word last all work, so a long list is short to write.
  • The result says exactly which pages were deleted and which remain.
  • The document is never uploaded, which matters for the kind of page people delete.

Limits

  • Deleting is not redacting: content the page referred to may still exist elsewhere in the file, and a page you keep may still quote what you removed.
  • Bookmarks pointing at deleted pages go with them.
  • Password-protected files must be unlocked first.
  • Deleting every page is refused, since it would leave nothing behind.

Frequently asked questions

Is a deleted page really gone?

The page is not in the new document, and neither is anything only it used. It is still not a redaction tool: if a sentence you want gone also appears on a page you keep, deleting the page will not remove it.

Can I delete a range?

Yes — "5-9" deletes five pages, and "22-" deletes everything from page 22 onwards.

Does the file get smaller?

Usually, because the images and fonts only those pages used are dropped along with them. How much depends on what was on them.

Can I get the pages back?

Not from the result — keep the original. The tool writes a new file and never touches the one you chose.
